There is a flame dwelling across the valleys and the plains, beyond the mountains and over the seas of our collective pain.
I welcome you back, Moon
Back to the space between my brows
You can hold on
You could let go
You could hold on to what is left when you let go
Anoint yourself if no one else will
You are the accumulation and the blessing
the chaos and this moment, still
Your senses are heightened, your intuition is ripe. This is the time to explore, to play, to indulge your curiosity and trust your instincts.
While Soul can live in a body without a limb or an appendix, and can even live in a body missing an eye or kidney, it cannot live in a body without a heart. It is the oracle through which our Soul can speak. The heart is the channel through which our Soul’s song sings.
You know these boundaries well, dear Moon,
for you shine brightest in the dark
and so I nodded to you in your full time bloom
as you showered me with light
Step into the waters of your grief, this world’s grief. Wade if you can. The waters of the Earth contain the collective tears of our Mothers and Fathers, Sisters, Brothers and Ancestors.
Tonight it is a silky number breathed forth by the accumulation of our tenderest dreams, stitched together by the sea goat’s hoof and perfumed with wild flowers
She is the inverse, the growl of my days and purr in the night.
